Overview
Open your fridge and stop overthinking. Build a tool that turns random ingredients into real meals in seconds. Use AI, no-code, or simple logic. Perfect for developers, designers, and problem-solvers who want to create something truly useful and human-first.
Problem statement
It is 8pm. You open the fridge. There is half an onion, some leftover rice, two eggs, a sad tomato, and something in a container you are choosing not to investigate. You stare at it for 90 seconds. You close it. You open Swiggy.
This happens to everyone. Every single day. Not because there is no food — there is food. But because the gap between "ingredients I have" and "meal I can actually make" requires creative thinking that nobody has at 8pm on a Tuesday.
Every recipe app in existence solves the wrong problem. They show you beautiful meals that require 14 ingredients, three of which you do not own, one of which you have never heard of. They are designed for people who meal plan on Sundays. You are not that person.
Build something that tells a person exactly what they can cook right now using only what they already have. No "just pick up X on your way home." No recipes that technically work if you substitute everything. Real food. Real constraints. Real kitchens.
The person using this is not a chef. They are tired, hungry, and already slightly annoyed. Your solution has to work in that state.
Deliverables
- A working app, Figma prototype, no-code solution, WhatsApp bot, or a well-designed system. Code is optional — solving the problem matters.
- What You Submit
- Live URL, prototype link, or system design document
- 3-minute demo showing real data input and actual output
- One paragraph explaining the hardest constraint you designed for and why
